Section 8 neighbors ruin good neighborhoods. Fact!

Somebody please put me out of my misery. For the last year or so I have been suffering. What i have noticed about the 3 neighbors that are on section 8 is,they are rude, ghetto, and crime is starting to increase in what used to be a good neighborhood. They make good neighbor hoods less safe. My first neighbor has like 5 kids, she curses out loud all the time, plays loud music, and fights her family in the middle of her yard for the world to see.

The neighbors beside her are just as loud and they are clearly selling drugs out of that house because someone in the neighborhood told me and they have alot of traffic coming to and from their house. The 3rd neighbors I like to call  " The break in boys"  The number of break ins have increased in my neighborhood.

Ive seen them, watching people's houses trying to see their pattern (i.e) what time they leave etc. They were looking at my Dads truck one day,i looked out the window and saw them. They left and came back later that night, pulled up in the drive way and backed out as if they were just turning around. I knew what they were up to.  Oh and it doesnt stop there. I saw the same exact black car they were in in front of my neighbors house two nights in a row.

My neighbor she actually works and has a great job, so alot of people know shes always gone. They've been watching her house. They stole one girls car when she went in the house to get something, she came back and her car was gone. Oh and they broke into my friends house when he moved in a house a few houses down.

The government has to stop this.  Do good hardworking families deserve to live next to these animals? Why not place them around  other ghetto criminals like themselves or in a lower class neighborhoods with people like them. They do not deserve to live in good neighborhoods. They dont take care of their houses and to add insult to injury  some of them have bigger houses than people that actually work. And last but not least they have to let the government know when an extra person moves in, well the lady neighbor on section 8 has had 2 extra people move in her dam house. Isnt that fraud?

Word of advice if someone on section 8 moves into your neighborhood, JUST MOVE. They will ruin it.

  1. This isn't a bad blog by any means. Your saying how u feel so I'm not gonna say your wrong, I just don't agree completely. Whenever you have to deal with Section 8 residents you never know what your gonna get. There are a lot more negative stereotypes for those residents than positive. I've actually known a few that weren't half that bad as well as some that were everything you said. I guess it varies per situation. I dig how you expressed yourself though.

  2. Good point@G But ive seen about atleast 8 different people move in this neighborhood on section 8 and they have all been horrible with the exception of one family. So you do have somewhat of a point. The Majority of them imo are horrible neighbors.

    2. ya hustling hard isn't the same as working hard. Hustling is scamming or drug dealing and it's your welfare benefits that are putting food on the table not your baby daddies.

  4. Blacks need to be secluded back to a designated project housing area as soon as i noticed them playing in the basket ball courts in my neighborhood police cameras went up and there now is graffiti in the newly renovated parks that me and other hard working citizens pay for why does the government slap us in the face when we work hard and live good lives to get away from that and these sub humans get it free

  5. I am an african american woman single with two children and the neighborhood i purchased my home in three years ago was so beautiful and peaceful.... until the most trifling two neighbors moved onto the block...i am going to just assume that they are section eight... and yes they are african american and the worst and nastiest people i have every had to live around....they don't work clean the yard and leave trash all in the street...so i agree with the majority on this blog and will be contacting officals on why the hell they let so many of these losers move into good neigborhoods....section 8 is like many programs that are to be used as a stepping stone...
but these lazy asses will stay on this crap until the last child is eighteen... i say if you dont have it together after five years of not paying rent then your butt should be kicked off...kinda makes me wished i had voted for Romney...but believe me i will let my voice be heard...down with life long free loaders!!!!!!!

  6. A very simple & basic order is being usurped here: People live where they can AFFORD to live. When this is followed naturally, people will live with the socioecomonic equivalents. Hard working middle class families are neighbors with hard working middle class families--the way it SHOULD be. When the government gets involved, you start screwing things up. Now those families that invested their lives in maintaining good homes & neighborhoods have been betrayed by forcing a criminal class to live among them. Their properties lose value, their valuables are stolen, their security is lost. These government officials would NEVER force this on their own neighborhoods, but yours & mine....SURE, WHY NOT!!??

  7. I am going to have to look at this from two point of views. I am a white male that grew up in the city with a mom on section 8 but we are a very respectful family and always tried to do the right thing. But then you do have families on section 8 that are involved in a lot of negativity. I live in the county right now in a beautiful neighborhood until that hud/section 8 apartments were built which was suppose to be a "senior citizen home". It's horrible to watch your neighborhood slowly diminish.

  8. Of course there are good & decent families that temporarily utilize society's safety nets, like Section 8, EBT, Welfare, etc..., and there are families that game the system for as long as they can--often from cradle to (an all too early) grave.

I have one "simple" solution to help avoid the problems associated with Section 8 Housing: The PRIVILEGE of being on Section 8 can be REVOKED; and these families are reviewed quarterly.

The good families have nothing to worry about. The problem families do. The HUD Worker would interview the Land Lord and neighbors to see if there are any serious problems that can be corrected. The troubled family on Section 8 would be given the opportunity to fix any problems, and if they can't, they will be removed from Section 8. This might also be a good opportunity to try and instill "Good Neighbor" qualities in these families; such as gainful employment.

I've seen videos of THOUSANDS of people madly rushing to local government offices, in order to sign up to get some type of free benefit. Its a fair bet that you WON'T see these same people rushing the doors to find a job at an Employment Agency.

They like getting as much as they can for "Free"; if you wish to control them to some extent, threaten to take some of their "Free" things away from them. THIS, they will understand. THIS, can make them decent neighbors, albeit by force.

Behave, or you will lose your nice, government-provided home.

  9. I agree with the person above. You should be reviewed and if you cannot correct your behaviors then you lose the “benefit”….
